My wife’s grandfather bought land in 1995. He passed away in 2006. In 2017, my wife’s father and uncles sold the land. What legal options do we have against them and the buyer?

Under Indian law, your wife may have a claim to the land based on inheritance rights. If her grandfather did not leave a will, the land would be divided among his legal heirs, including your wife. Your wife can file a suit for partition and possession of her share in the land, challenging the 2017 sale.
