My grandfather built our ancestral home in Kolkata for his family. Sadly, my grandmother decided to leave the entire property to my uncle’s son, leaving my father with nothing. This caused a lot of pain and hurt for my father, who valued the house deeply for its sentimental value. Although my grandmother later gave my father the ground floor and made a will stating this, he passed away suddenly this February. Now, my aunt and grandmother are demanding the will and other documents back. Is there any way I can claim a portion of the property even without any legal documentation?
