In the absence of a will, your father’s property will be divided according to the Hindu Succession Act, 1956 (if applicable). This means his legal heirs, including your stepmother and you, will inherit his property in defined proportions. It’s advisable to consult a lawyer to understand your specific rights and the inheritance process.
