My father passed away in 1999 without leaving a will. He had built his own property. My mother passed away in 2015 and wrote a will leaving the property to her sister and granddaughter. Is this will valid? The property is still registered in my father’s name.

The will your mother wrote is likely invalid. Since your father died intestate, his property was inherited by his legal heirs, including yourself. Your mother only had a life interest in the property, and could not bequeath it in her will.
