My brothers are taking the rent from our family house but aren’t helping with the home loan. They’re also refusing to share any money with me and my mother, the owner. I’m the one who’s mostly paid the loan, and I’ve tried talking to them, but they’re saying they have financial problems. I need legal advice on how to resolve this situation.

As the owner of the house and primary loan payer, you have legal recourse to address this. You can file a suit for partition of the property, seeking a fair division of the house and its rent income. Alternatively, you can approach a court for an injunction to restrain your brothers from collecting rent without contributing to the loan and sharing income.
