My ancestors bought land in 1964 but it wasn’t registered. The land is still in my grandfather’s name and we’ve been using it all along. Now, the current owner is refusing to let us access the land. I only have the 1964 registration paper for the purchase. What should I do? The current owner is being very aggressive and won’t let us use the land.

You have a strong claim based on adverse possession, as you’ve been using the land continuously for over 12 years. Consult a lawyer immediately to file a case for declaration of title and possession. The lawyer can also advise on seeking legal remedies against the current owner’s aggression.
