Using a 12-volt battery to create an electric fence in India is illegal. The Electricity Act of 2003 and the Indian Penal Code prohibit the use of electric fences as they pose a serious risk of injury or death to humans and animals. There are alternative, legal methods to deter trespassers and animals, such as physical barriers and security systems.
