In 2004, we agreed to buy a used flat for ₹9 lakhs from a seller. We paid her ₹4 lakhs, all documented with signed agreements and receipts on stamp paper. Even after agreeing to pay ₹13 lakhs, she refused to sell the flat and return our money. We have a court order stopping the sale of the property. We filed a case in the Bombay High Court in 2005. How can we speed up the legal process?
Best Answer
You can expedite the legal process by applying for a summary suit or an early hearing based on the existing court order and documented proof of the agreement and payment. You can also request the High Court to issue a notice to the seller to appear and explain why she should not be compelled to sell the flat.
