I’m planning to buy a DDA flat in Rohini. While checking the documents, I noticed something unusual. The Intimation letter, Allotment Letter, and CD all mention the property address without a specific pocket, or sometimes even mention “Pocket 0.” However, the possession slip shows the flat’s address as “Pocket 4.” I asked DDA about this, and they said it’s not a problem because the file number matches across all documents. They haven’t given me anything in writing about this difference though. Should I be concerned, or is this a minor issue and I can go ahead with the deal?

The inconsistency in the address mentioned across documents raises a red flag. While DDA claims the file number match ensures legitimacy, the lack of written explanation about the address discrepancy is concerning. It’s advisable to seek legal counsel to understand the implications and potential risks before proceeding with the purchase.
