Can a child who passed away before birth or was lost through miscarriage inherit property from their deceased father in a Hindu family?

Under Hindu Law, a child who died before birth or was miscarried is not considered a ‘son’ or ‘daughter’ and therefore cannot inherit property from their deceased father. The legal heir would be determined by the deceased father’s surviving spouse and other legal heirs.
