Being a Hindu, I’m concerned about my inheritance. My father purchased land in 1985 and built a house in 2005. He recently transferred this property to my brother’s name without consulting the rest of us siblings. Since my brother is the only son, I’m worried if I can legally claim my share under the Hindu Succession Act?

As per the Hindu Succession Act, you are entitled to a share in your father’s property, including the land and house, even though it has been transferred to your brother’s name. You can challenge this transfer in court, as it appears your father may not have obtained your consent or followed due legal procedures.
