In India, you cannot prevent a divorce simply by ignoring legal steps. Even if you don’t respond, a divorce can proceed. You need to actively engage in the legal process to present your case, contest the grounds for divorce, and seek a fair outcome, especially regarding your son’s custody and welfare.
