My husband was in an accident two and a half years into our marriage, leaving him in a vegetative state. I was pregnant then, and now our child is two years old. His family blames my horoscope for the accident and has been cruel to me and our child. They’ve pushed me out, and I’ve been living with my parents for the past two years. They won’t grant a divorce, fearing I’ll remarry and have more children. My husband’s condition is irreversible, doctors say he’ll stay this way until he passes. I’m a Hindu, and I need to know how to get a divorce, especially since they’re refusing. How long will it take, and can I get maintenance even though I’m unemployed and they’re wealthy?
