Under Indian law, you can file for divorce on grounds of cruelty and seek a protection order under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act to ensure your daughter’s safety. You can file for divorce yourself, but it’s advisable to consult a lawyer for proper legal guidance and representation.
