Under Indian law, your parents are not legally obligated to provide financial support for your wife or her daughter. Alimony and child support are typically awarded based on the income and resources of the divorcing spouses, not from third parties like your parents. However, a court might consider your parents’ financial contributions if they were providing support to you and your wife during your marriage.
