My wife and her family are constantly threatening my family and me over trivial matters. They’ve filed false cases against me, including sections 398 and 323. We reached a settlement, and she returned home, but the harassment continued. She left again, threatening to file further cases under sections 377 and 306. There was never any reason for this conflict. I filed for divorce, but they continue to threaten violence and demand alimony without granting me a divorce. My wife also aborted our child twice. I need help to protect myself and my family from this constant harassment.

You can approach the court seeking protection from harassment under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code. You can also seek a restraining order against your wife and her family to prevent further violence and threats. Furthermore, you can seek to dissolve the marriage and for the court to make appropriate orders regarding alimony and custody of any future children. It is recommended that you consult a lawyer to explore all legal options and proceed accordingly.
