Sharing reviews about professors at private engineering colleges on websites is generally not against the law in India. However, if the reviews are defamatory or contain false information, the reviewer could face legal consequences. The website owner is generally not liable for the content of user-generated reviews, but they can be held responsible if they fail to remove defamatory content after being notified.
