Under Indian law, a criminal case pending against you does not automatically disqualify you from joining the Armed Forces. However, your eligibility depends on the specific nature of the case, its stage, and the outcome. It’s advisable to be transparent with the SSB board about the case and to seek legal advice regarding its potential impact on your application.
