Yes, you can apply for transfer of your case from your village to Mumbai under Section 24 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. You need to prove that attending hearings in the village is causing hardship due to your age, wife’s health, and distance. The court will consider your application and transfer the case if it deems it necessary and just.
