I was charged under Section 306 of the IPC in January 2012, but I’ve been acquitted. Can I apply for government jobs now?

Yes, you are eligible to apply for government jobs. An acquittal under Section 306 of the IPC means you were found not guilty. This does not create any legal bar to your employment, and you can apply for any government position for which you are otherwise qualified.
