I booked a flat with BPTP a few years ago, and they’ve taken most of the payment. Now, they’re offering me a different property, which is more expensive and in a location I don’t prefer. What should I do?

You have the right to refuse the alternate property. Under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, the builder is obligated to deliver the promised property within the stipulated time. You can seek legal recourse to recover your payments and seek compensation for the delay and inconvenience caused.
