Namaste! I’m planning to buy a 1000 sq ft plot in Chennai. It’s part of a larger 3000 sq ft land that the owner wants to sell off in sections. He hasn’t officially subdivided the land yet, but wants me to register and then subdivide it myself. He assures me the plot has building approval. My concern is, is it safe to buy a plot that isn’t subdivided and then subdivide it later? Will this cause any issues in the future?
