My two brothers and I are facing a difficult situation. Our father, who built his own shop and house, is struggling with the middle brother. He’s disrespectful to our father, but our mother seems to favor him. Our father helped him buy a house, which he registered in his wife’s name. Now, our father wants to remove his name from the property. What legal options are available to him?

Your father can file a suit for partition of the property, seeking to separate his share. He can also seek a declaration that the property registration in the wife’s name was a sham transaction, and that he remains the rightful owner.
