Indian law does not typically allow recovery of expenses incurred for a relative’s education. While you can attempt to discuss the repayment with her amicably, legally enforcing it would be difficult unless there was a formal agreement in place regarding the loan. You may want to consider family mediation to address the concerns and negativity being spread.
