My mother is facing a difficult situation with her brother and nephew over our grandparents’ house in Tilak Nagar, West Delhi. The house is about 60 square yards, and unfortunately, no property registration or will was ever made. My grandparents passed away before my father, who died in July 2000. My father had one brother and two sisters, and I have one sister. My uncle holds the property papers in his name. My mother and I are worried because my uncle and his son are pressuring her to leave the house, claiming full ownership. Is my mother legally entitled to a share of the property, and how can she secure it? My uncle and nephew are making her life difficult, and we need advice urgently.

Since no will exists, the property will be divided according to the rules of intestate succession in India.
