My great grandfather had two sons and left behind 35 acres of land. As per the rules, each brother should have received 17.5 acres. However, my grandfather inherited 14 acres while his brother got 22 acres. We have been cultivating 18 acres since the beginning, but now my other grandfather is claiming it as his own.
Furthermore, even if we accept the 14 acres as per the documents, they are offering us the least fertile part of the land. What should we do now?

You have a legitimate claim to the land based on inheritance and long-standing possession. Consult a lawyer to formally challenge the current ownership and ensure a fair distribution of the land. You can also explore options like mediation to resolve the dispute amicably.
