My grandmother passed away three years ago, leaving behind a will that only named my aunt as the beneficiary of her property. Since my mother is also her daughter, can she claim a share of the land? Is it possible for my aunt to sell the land without the consent of the other daughters?

Under Indian law, your mother can challenge the will if she can prove it was invalid or that she was unfairly excluded. Your aunt can sell the land as the sole beneficiary, but it’s advisable to consult a lawyer to ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
