My grandfather passed on a family property to me 60 years ago. I have two children, a son and a daughter. My daughter is married to a Christian, but we are Hindu. Can I transfer this property to my daughter?

Under Indian law, you can transfer the property to your daughter, regardless of her marriage. Hindu Succession Act allows you to transfer property to any legal heir, including your daughter. Your daughter’s marriage to a Christian does not affect her inheritance rights.
