Under Indian law, a registered gift deed creates a valid transfer of ownership. Your mother can challenge your grandfather’s claim by producing the gift deed and demonstrating it was a genuine gift. Additionally, if your grandfather is attempting to revoke the gift, you can explore legal remedies for breach of contract or fraudulent misrepresentation.
