My grandfather built his own home and property. He has four daughters and a son, my father, who unfortunately passed away. I am his only grandson. He wrote a will stating that everything would be mine after he’s gone. However, his health is failing, and now he wants to divide the property equally among everyone. My aunts are all married and doing well. What can I do in this difficult situation?

In India, a will is a valid legal document, but a person can modify or revoke it at any time. Your grandfather can legally divide the property equally among his children, including you as your father’s legal heir. You can try to speak to your grandfather and understand his reasoning for the change and express your concerns.
