My father was a protected tenant on a piece of land. After his passing, I inherited it and obtained a 32M certificate after paying the landlord ₹1,500. Is this land now considered self-acquired or ancestral property? Can I will this land to someone outside the family? I paid the amount from my own savings. Do my son and daughter have any claim to this land?

The land is considered self-acquired property as you inherited it and obtained a 32M certificate after paying the landlord. You have the right to will this land to anyone, including someone outside the family, as it is your self-acquired property. Your son and daughter have no legal claim to this land as you are free to dispose of it as per your wishes.
