My father passed away without a will six years ago, leaving behind four brothers and a sister. He had named only four brothers as beneficiaries. My brothers sold the family property and divided the proceeds amongst themselves. Can I request a re-division of the property and claim my rightful share?

As your father died intestate (without a will), his property is subject to the law of intestate succession. You, as a legal heir, have the right to claim your share of the property, even though you were not named in the distribution. You can approach the court for a re-division of the property and claim your rightful share.
