My father inherited some ancestral land after his father passed away. The land is registered jointly in his name and his brothers’ names. It hasn’t been divided yet. Since this land was passed down through the family, is it considered my father’s own property? Do his sisters and brother also have a claim to it?

No, the land is not solely your father’s property. It is jointly owned by him and his siblings, as it was inherited from their father. Your father’s siblings have an equal right to the property as he does, and it cannot be considered his own until a formal division takes place.
