My father and his younger brother owned a house together. My father passed away five years ago, and there’s no written will for the property. My mother has the legal documents. My uncle lived in the house initially, but my father moved his family to a different home before his death. My uncle then renovated the house without consulting my father. We want to sell the property now. Are there any legal issues we need to be aware of?
