My family has been farming this land for over 60 years, passed down from our forefathers. We don’t have any official papers since it was received from the zamindars. However, our uncles are now claiming ownership with documents. We do have a letter from the zamindar acknowledging our family’s tax payments back then, and we also have tax receipts, though they are in my uncle’s father’s name. What can I do to protect our family’s rights to this land? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Based on your situation, you may have a claim to the land through adverse possession. Consult a lawyer to assess your specific case and explore options like filing a suit for declaration of title, relying on the zamindar’s letter and tax receipts as evidence of possession.
