My family and I bought a plot in Ghaziabad and paid the full amount in cash. Now, the builder isn’t picking up our calls and hasn’t registered the property in our name. We’ve asked for a refund, but they haven’t responded. What should we do? We’re completely lost and don’t know what our options are.

You have grounds to file a complaint with the Consumer Forum or the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) in Ghaziabad. You can also file a civil suit seeking a refund, possession, or both, along with compensation for the builder’s breach of contract.
