I’m a daughter from Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. My father registered all the property in my mother’s name when I was young. Now that I’m married and need some financial assistance, can I ask to share the property with my sister? If she refuses, what legal options do I have?

As per Indian law, the property registered in your mother’s name is hers to dispose of. You have no legal claim to it. If your mother is willing to transfer a share to you, she can do so voluntarily. However, if your sister refuses to share, you have no legal recourse.
