If someone passes away before registering land in their name, how long is the agreement valid for, and what happens to the property?

Under Indian law, the agreement is not automatically invalidated. The property will be considered part of the deceased person’s estate. The legal heirs will inherit the property according to the laws of succession, subject to any will or testamentary disposition made by the deceased.
