For years, I’ve let people use my land for a temporary puja pandal. But recently, without my permission, they built a small temple structure called a “than” on my property. I took it down because it was built illegally. Now, they’re claiming I destroyed their God statue and that it’s public property because the puja has been held there for a long time. What should I do now?

You have the right to remove unauthorized structures from your private property. The fact that the puja was held there for years does not automatically make it public property. The land remains yours, and you can take legal action to prevent them from building on it again. It’s recommended to consult a lawyer to understand your rights and options.
