Dear Sir,
My father is the only son and his parents passed away several years ago. His father owned property that was divided in two parts. My father was raised by one of the sharers, who essentially became his father figure. This individual has given most of the property to his own sons. Now, my grandfather is no longer alive and his sons, my uncles, are planning to renovate some old shops without our consent. Half of the land is in my father’s name, but the shops were always run by my uncles. With the renovations starting, we want our share of the property. Please advise on what we should do.

Your father has a legal right to his share of the property, as it was inherited from his father. You should consult with a lawyer to understand the specific legal procedures for claiming your share and potentially challenging the renovations. This will ensure your rights are protected and you receive a fair share of the property.
