Amrapali Silicon City in Noida is now demanding extra payment for increased apartment sizes at the time of possession. This wasn’t mentioned when we booked our flats back in 2010. The number of apartments in the complex has grown since then, with an increase in the FAR (Floor Area Ratio). There are other discrepancies too, compared to what was originally agreed upon.

This situation raises serious concerns as the builder cannot unilaterally demand extra payment for increased apartment sizes without prior agreement. The 2010 agreement should govern the terms of the sale, including apartment size, and any deviations must be addressed by negotiation or legal action, potentially invoking consumer protection laws.
