Returning from a vacation with my 15-year-old son and dog, I was shocked to find my landlord had started construction without any notice. The noise and dust are unbearable, especially with my degenerative disc disorder. He even threatened me with the police. I’ve applied for my son’s transfer to Mumbai, where my husband works, since we came back two days ago. My husband’s on a business trip to the USA and can’t return early. I’m forced to keep all doors and windows shut. What can I do?
