You have a strong case as the bank verbally agreed to renew the lease and subsequently confirmed it in writing. Despite withdrawing the initial legal notice, their refusal to pay the agreed rent and vacate constitutes breach of contract. You can now file a lawsuit to enforce the lease agreement, seeking eviction and payment of rent arrears.
