Based on Indian law, your landlord cannot force you to stay until December or find a replacement tenant. While a lease agreement should be honored, it’s your right to vacate the property upon giving proper notice, which is typically 30 days. You can politely reiterate your intention to leave in July and remind him of your legal right to do so. If he continues to refuse, you can seek legal advice.
