Sir, I am working in the revenue department. My father unfortunately passed away while in service in 2012. Due to amendment rule 6, I couldn’t apply for a compensation appointment within the year of his passing. I am currently unemployed and eager to secure this position. Could you please advise if I am still eligible to apply for the compensation appointment under these circumstances? Thank you for your time and assistance.
