My multinational company hasn’t paid my salary for the past three months. They claim they’re facing financial difficulties. Though I’m still employed, they’re asking me to do tasks outside my job description, offering a meagre Rs. 5,000 per week. My usual monthly salary is Rs. 6,000. This salary delay began in April 2015, and now they haven’t paid me for three months. They’re only paying a select few, leaving the rest of us in a difficult situation.

Under Indian law, you have the right to receive your salary on time, as per your employment contract. Your employer’s financial difficulties do not excuse them from fulfilling their contractual obligations. You can consider contacting the labor department or seeking legal advice to pursue your unpaid salary and address the unfair work conditions.
