My boss called me to his office and asked me to resign. He promised to pay all my dues and compensation after 8 years of dedicated service. I was well-respected at work and wanted to stay. I still don’t understand why they wanted me to leave. Now, the company is not paying me what they owe me. What can I do to get my job back or at least my money? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

While you cannot legally force your employer to reinstate you, you can pursue legal action to recover your dues and compensation. You can file a claim with the Labor Commissioner or file a lawsuit in the appropriate court. It’s advisable to consult with a labor lawyer to understand your specific legal rights and options.
