You should immediately contact the company and attempt to resolve the matter amicably. Under Indian law, failing to complete exit formalities could lead to legal action, including recovery of any outstanding dues or damages. It’s best to reach out to them and discuss a resolution, possibly involving completing the formalities remotely or paying a nominal fee.
