I’ve been working for a group of companies since May 2008. They moved me to a different company within the group in November 2012, but I never formally resigned from the original company. I’m planning to leave for a new job in February 2017.
My question is, will I still be eligible for gratuity considering my continuous employment with the group since 2008? If they refuse to pay, can I legally pursue it? I’ve worked with them for almost nine years and it would be a significant loss for me if I’m denied my gratuity. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
