For two years now, my boss has been making inappropriate comments about my appearance. I told him to stop, but since then, he’s been unfairly treating me. He assigns me less work, picks on my mistakes, and even threatens my job. This has happened three times now, and recently he’s been making personal comments about his relationships with other women, implying it’s my fault he’s behaving this way. I’ve reported his behavior to our senior management, and they’ve set up an internal committee to investigate. However, I fear they’re biased towards him as he holds a senior position.

Your boss’s behavior constitutes sexual harassment under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. You have the right to file a formal complaint with the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) and can also approach the police or the National Commission for Women if the ICC fails to provide a fair resolution.
